HR Administrator

Job purpose/ key responsibilities and skills

This role will be to provide key HR administration support to the business. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will have the opportunity be involved in all aspects of HR in a growing International company.

  • Supporting HR Manager on HR administration on a daily basis. HR administration activities include:
    • Maintenance and update of employee details across our HR systems and employee files
    • Administration of time and attendance system
    • Employee absence and holiday administration
    • Process starter and leaver employee details to ensure all systems and HR data is current
    • Support in the onboarding process of new employees
    • Administration of company pension scheme and company private healthcare plan
    • Support in the recruitment process including posting vacancies and sifting candidates.
    • Company car administration
    • Benefits administration
    • Purchase of workwear for new and existing employees
    • Support in the collation of monthly payroll
    • Ad hoc administration support as required
  • Be a first point of contact for employees on general HR queries
  • Support Radiation Protection Supervisor in radiation protection administration for relevant employees
  • Organisation of travel and accommodation for staff traveling to Head Office
  • Provide support to the business in the organisation of team and company events
  • Conduct regular review of HR data held to ensure compliance with GDPR
  • Working on HR projects as required.

Education/ Experience

  • Some previous experience in an office environment would be advantageous
  • French language skills would be advantageous but not essential
  • Ideally you will have a Degree in Business Administration or similar discipline with a desire to work within a human resources environment
  • Desire to work with people in a varied role
