Job purpose / key responsibilities
As Material & Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee a small Logistics Team, ensuring all sales orders are picked, set-up correctly, and passed to the Despatch Team in a timely manner. By retaining total ownership of Pick & Pack, you will prioritise workloads in order to meet both internal and external customer expectations.
Liaise with Suppliers on technical issues, assess the potential impact on fulfilment timescales, and communicate this with all affected parties.
Contribute to a weekly “Pick and Pack” meeting, highlighting Stock shortages and discrepancies with Purchasing, Production and Materials & logistics Department.
Peer checks on Sales Orders to 100% accuracy and on time for all below product:
Working with the Installation Technicians, you will also co-ordinate the delivery and installation of veterinary diagnostic equipment throughout the UK and Ireland, ensuring that all pre-inspections are satisfactory and documented prior to installation.
Part of RPS (Radiation Protection Supervisor) Team
Escalation to Materials & Logistics Manager as required if unable to resolve Sales Orders/Install Issues
