Laura Quiney
Clinical Applications Team Manager
After graduating from the University of Bristol I completed a one year internship in orthopaedics and diagnostic imaging at the Animal Health Trust (AHT). I then worked in ambulatory equine practice before returning to the AHT as Junior Clinician. In addition to clinical work I was responsible for overseeing the diagnostic imaging department in the Equine Centre including radiography, ultrasonography, skeletal scintigraphy and MRI. I regularly provided diagnostic imaging CPD for recently graduated and experienced veterinarians, as well as teaching internally and for veterinary students.
I am an active clinical researcher with several peer-reviewed publications which I have presented at both national and international conferences.
I joined the clinical team within IMV imaging in early 2019 to combine my passions for education and diagnostic imaging. I contribute to the online learning resources and provision of CPD.
Outside of work I enjoy tandem cycling, walking with my dog Goose, skiing in the winter months and baking celebration cakes.
